Oil on canvas, 47.3X61cm
A work of great decorative refinement, typical of Venetian Rococo. The scene is set in an ethereal sky, characterized by a dynamic and lively composition.
In the center, Valor and Virtue are represented as allegorical figures ascending toward the Temple of Glory, a symbol of prestige and eternal fame. The play of pastel colors, the softness of the brushstrokes and the elegance of the figures reflect the influence of Giambattista Tiepolo, whose pupil and collaborator Zugno was.
The work is accompanied by a study by Prof Enrico Lucchese.
